Tod Lewis has been representing consumers for over twenty years and he is a 1998 Honors graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology – Chicago-Kent College of Law. Moreover, Tod is dedicated to vigorously prosecuting consumer rights under the law. Tod’s priority is to protect clients who have had their rights violated by businesses through illegal and deceptive practices, using federal laws such as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
Tod lives in Austin with his wife Carrie and two children, Blake and Amanda. Tod began his professional career in 1990 after graduating from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree while working full-time as a waiter and bartender. Tod also passed the rigorous Certified Public Accountant exam. Tod attended law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology while working full-time as a licensed CPA. Tod is a first generation college graduate. Tod’s humble working class background gives him a unique perspective on the hallenges faced by hard working families every day.
